City Heights is a business and residential area in the City of San Diego, east of Golden Hill and North Park along the north side of the Martin Luther King Freeway (State Highway 94). The 15 and 805 freeways cross in the center of the area. Business districts are located along University Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard. Many small businesses thrive here with products and merchandise that are hard to find in the malls and supermarkets.
A mixture of apartments and small houses makes for a densely populated area, especially between University Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard.
